Forsyth is home to a variety of unique, specialty shops, including Garriott’s Antiques, Old Book Barn, Balloons ‘n Things, and the Apple-a-Day Wellness Emporium. There are also plenty of restaurants to offer a good meal in Forsyth, including Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, O’Charley’s Restaurant and Bar, and Maharani’s Homemade Indian Cuisine.

Forsyth will experience varied weather throughout the year, so it is important that you invest in the right heating and cooling systems:

  • Spring. One of the wettest seasons, the spring months in Forsyth are warm but can also bring severe storms with potential tornadoes.
  • Summer. The summer months in the region are hot and humid, with average daily highs reaching the upper-80s during July and August.
  • Autumn. The autumn months are warm and comfortable, but temperatures will cool off quickly in October and November. It is possible to experience the first snowfall toward the end of the season.
  • Winter. Winters in Forsyth are cold, and overnight lows often fall well below the freezing point. Winter storms can also bring heavy snow, ice, or freezing rain.

Forsyth area HVAC pros recommend that climate control systems in the area are regularly serviced throughout the year. This way, you can ensure that they are ready to keep your home comfortable when either especially hot or cold weather moves into the area.
